Defeat Unidentified AF
The 43rd president of Arisawa Heavy Industries, some call him "Shadow Warrior". He searches for an opponent for his beloved craft, Rai-Den. His craft is the driving force behind all Arisawa technology, a heavy tank-type armed with grenades. He is the first president of Arisawa to see combat.
Takafumi Arisawa appears as a possible consort in numerous GA missions. He holds an intense degree of pride over his own NEXT and views his enemies as inferior in terms of discipline and experience. While this may originally appear as arrogance, his eventual reaction to the upgraded Land Crab AF with Sol Dios cannons proves that he is a veteran. He commends and respects The Raven for his bravery in deciding to take on the dangerous mission. In addition to this, he appears as a possible enemy during the mission, Defeat AF Great Wall. Given he appears as a possible consort in later missions, he survived the encounter with The Raven.
Based around the idea of overwhelming defense and offense, Rai-Den is a super heavy-weight tank-type NEXT. It uses grenade launcher weapon arms and the OIGAMI, a super large and powerful grenade cannon. The only fault of Rai-den is its extremely poor mobility, even for a heavy type.
When fighting him, there is one thing to remember. Grenades are slow. Thus, as long as you keep moving at a good pace, you can dodge his rounds. He also has a habit of firing nonstop, and once he starts he doesn't stop even when his opponent is out of range. Make sure to keep your distance when he uses the Dual slot grenade launcher back unit that he has. It does a lot of damage! Use a middle-weight NEXT with suitable weaponry for mid to long range combat. Permanent flight capable snipers equipped with backup laser blades have little trouble defeating him.
(A lightweight blader should work fine too, just make sure he has run out of ammo first)
On the mission "Destroy AF Great Wall", it is possible to not have to fight him period. The AI may cause the Rai-Den to fall out of the separating part of the Great Wall. Once that happens, complete the mission without engaging and it will end without having to fight Arisawa.
For AF Great Wall: Though the AF can't be damaged from the outside, everything inside can, a KRB disscharge close enough to Rai-Den (preferably BELOW the connection between section 2 and 3 as this will also block the AF's attacks, as well as being as close to Rai-Den as possible) will damage it heavily, use the discharge system a few times and it will be out of commission.
Order match: Grenades have HUGE power, and his weapon arms have about 54 rounds (27 for each arm), that, plus the converted launcher on his back gives him 37 chances to blow you into orbit, after that, he has nothing else to do but make YOU run out of ammunition too, something he is VERY bad at as his NEXT is both a tank type as well as a tank type with bad QuickBoost capacity. Get a middlewheight with good sideboosters, Rayleonard's 03 model worked fine when this was tested, after adding some FRS memory to the Generator's EN output of course. Make him spend every shell Rai-Den has and then unleash an old Rayleonard style laser mayhem with your favourite blade(s).
- Attack on Richland
- Arisawa Heavy Industries Rai-Den here. I'll take them head on. That's how I've always done it. Let's burn them all to the ground.
- Looks like we're done here. Amazing that you can withstand such fearsome enemies with that thing.
- Defeat AF Great Wall
- The rats have come out to play... Hmph, what a hassle.
- My Rai-Den disabled? You monster!
- Defeat Red Rum & Starka
- This is Arisawa Heavy Industries. I'll take point. They won't put a scratch on Rai-Den.
- The area's evacuated?
- So we've done it. Hmph. These undisciplined Lynx have the gall to face Rai-Den.
- Defeat Unidentified AF
- Arisawa Heavy Industries Rai-Den here. I don't know how much they told you... but you have guts taking this mission.
- Is it over? If we can just hit the target, we won't lose. It's common sense.

- He is titled as "God of QB chaining" due to a glitch where he performs a massive QB chain. This has been a topic of ridicule to many players.
