Attack on Arteria Cranium
This Lynx is the highest ranked independent mercenary affiliated with Collared. He's a plain and emotionless man, but his craft is a rare HILBERT model, formerly piloted by Aldra. He utilizes his craft's heavy weaponry with deadly efficiency.

Saaland appears in the Chapter 1 mission Defeat Wonderful Body as a possible ally, receiving 30% pay. If the Protagonist chooses to join ORCA at the end of Chapter 3, then Wynne D. Fanchon approaches Saaland to assist her after finding out ORCA's endgame and the corporations' complicity. The two of them face Thermidor and Shinkai in the main reactor room of Arteria Cranium, and defeat both ORCA Lynx. Shortly afterward, the Protagonist (now the last surviving ORCA Lynx) arrives at the behest of Thermidor and duels with Fanchon and Saaland, defeating them both and allowing ORCA's plan to be fulfilled.
NEXT My BlissEdit
Roy's NEXT My Bliss is an Aldra HILBERT model. Befitting his Independent status, Roy uses GA parts to power the craft, and utilizes a mixture of Interior Union and GA weapons. It is both defensively and offensively effective NEXT, as the HILBERT's innate defenses and versatility, coupled with its hard-hitting weaponry makes for an all-rounded, deadly unit. It comes equipped with GA-made DEARBORN03 Proximity Missiles, a VERMILLION01 High-Speed Missiles, coupled with a BELTCREEK03 Shoulder-mounted Relation Missiles. Its arm weapons consist of GA-made GAN01-SS-WGP Heavy Gatling Gun and an Interior-made HLR09-BECRUX Twin Hi-Laser Rifle.
My Bliss deserves its spot in the ranking, as it is one of those opponents that can seriously harm you if you are not careful. To begin with, My Bliss has a balanced loadout, meaning that it will pound you with its missiles when afar, and switches to its arm weapons when close. Its missile weaponry is really damaging when it hits; in particular, the VTF missiles can hit you despite your best efforts to dodge it, and its high speed missiles can catch you even when you retreat. Flares can, obviously, mitigate this to a degree. Its combination of gatling gun and high laser rifle seems mismatched, but remember that the gatling gun can quickly rack up damage and deplete PA while its twin high laser completely wreaks havoc on low-defense units. Taking down My Bliss is then primarily an exercise in careful dodging, as its low maneuverability can leave it quite open to sneak attacks or long range barrages. Do however note that due to its heavyweight class, it takes a while for My Bliss to go down. While blades can and has been effective against him, the usual machinegun and grenade launcher combo works just as well, and sniping him to death is not impossible either.
My Bliss alone is tough, but with the addition of the much nimbler, and much more lethal Reiterpallasch, the situation is much worse than the equivalent Order Match battle. To make matters worse, Arteria Cranium is a very constricted space, where the advantage lies with My Bliss's hard-hitting weaponry. However, there are several things that can be taken to your advantage.
One, it is possible to lure My Bliss onto him/her, while simultaneously getting Reiterpallasch to be stuck just beyond her spawn location. In this scenario, the player will gain invaluable time window to inflict as much damage as possible to My Bliss before Reiterpallasch joins the fray. Secondly, My Bliss's number one weakness is its unwillingness to avoid your attacks, instead preferring to sit it out in the middle of the section, taking whatever you can dish at him while barraging you with its weaponry. Thirdly, which is common with all AIs present in the battle, is its unwillingness to pursue you to the other side of the Cranium, leaving you to take potshots at him from an extreme distance if you so prefer.
On Hard Mode, however, Stasis is also present, which means you must change your strategy: ignore My Bliss and concentrate on defeating Stasis and Reiterpallasch first due to their low defenses. Take down My Bliss once the other two are done with. Whatever your choice is, however, concentrate on one opponent at a time, and since My Bliss is a tough opponent, getting distracted will waste precious ammo and time, and may cost you your life.
Out of the two missions that you can hire him, My Bliss is the superb choice for both. Not only the cost (30%) is just right, his weaponry and armor make him excellent choice for both missions. In the first mission, Defeat Wonderful Body, Wonderful Body is weak against energy weaponry; something that My Bliss wields. Also, its high armor and gatling gun is more than enough to handle the Normals present in the mission's Hard Mode. In Defeat Unknown NEXT+No Count, again, My Bliss's twin hi-laser is devastating against both No Count and Big Barrel. In Hard Mode, My Bliss's armor should last him long enough to also deal with the third NEXT, Yoroi Mogura. With his resilience, firepower, and 30% cost, My Bliss is the ideal choice for both situations.
