Briefing[]
Raven, the situation at our main air transport hub, Vargas Airport, is deteriorating rapidly. Immediate intervention is requested.
Due to the facility's importance to our ongoing operations, a well-defend security perimeter is in place. However, repeated attacks during recent weeks have taken their toll.
The rate at which security elements are being destroyed far outpaces our ability to replace them. Maintaining an effective perimeter around the airport has become extremely difficult.
In an effort to counter this problem and reinforce our position, we've resorted to employing a Raven as added security during key transport operations.
To this end, we'd like you to protect one of our transports enroute to the airport for a scheduled refueling stop. The shipment of newly developed AC parts it carries must not be intercepted.

Walkthrough []
Your objective is to not let the transport plane be destroyed. At the start, it's not here yet, but you are greeted by several waves of fighter jets. Once these have been dispatched, the plane will arrive. Once it touches down, you have two more waves of jets then several of the fast MTs, they come in sets of three from various directions. The jets travel in predictable patterns and are weak. Just intercept the MTs before they reach the plane, they are fast so be accurate. You will have the airport's turrets on your side (they're not very helpful). You can hire some friends if you wish (heli's,MT and ACs). They are useful is helping you speed up the killing and thus better defending the transport but as per usual, it can be done without them.
AC set-up Use a head with radar. Pair either long range weapons with a long range FCS or accurate/powerful weaponry with a fast lock FCS, use whichever you feel most comfortable with. You can sacrifice armor for this one as the damage you take is minimal, and speed is very handy.
Trivia[]
- The right arm assault/burst rifle CWG-ARF-180 can be obtained in the mission. It's located inside the transport that you are supposed to protect. However, retrieving the part will cause you to fail the mission.
- Can obtain the left arm part CWGG-GRSL-20. It's located inside the left hangar.
- Can obtain the left arm part MWG-HGBL-90. To unlock the part, complete the mission after having destroyed 37 or more enemies.
