An MT, or Muscle Tracer, is the term for a large and varied group of machines originally developed for labor, and later adapted for military use.

Armored Cores were developed from the MT design.


Crest Muscle TracersEdit

CR-MT77Edit

The CR-MT77 is an all purpose MT model designed by Crest Industries. Intended solely for labor-related activities, the unit is unarmed.

CR-MT77MEdit

The CR-MT77M is modified version of the original CR-MT77 model and comes equipped with missile launchers and laser rifles.

CR-MT77ROEdit

MT model equipped with a back mounted rocket launcher and laser rifle are part.

CR-MT83RSEdit

Specifically designed by Crest Industries as a long-range combat unit, the CR-MT83RS model comes outfitted with an ECM maker and high-performance radar.

CR-MT85BEdit

A heavily armored MT model designed by Crest Industries, the CR-MT85B has been widely deployed with excellent results. In Armored Core: Nexus, the MT85B is shown to be inferior to its Mirage counterpart the OWL.

CR-MT85BPEdit

The CR-MT85BP is an upgraded version of its predecessor, the CR-MT85B. Developed after Alliance was established, the unit incorporates technology created by Kisaragi in some of its parts. This model is extremely durable, capable of taking multiple hits from even the most powerful weapons

CR-MT85MEdit

A heavily armored MT model that has the same specifications as the CR-MT85B but equips different weapons.

CR-MT91L2Edit

A high attack power MT unit designed by Crest Industries, the CR-MT91L2 has been significantly modified since the first prototype was introduced.

CR-MT98GEdit

A quad-leg MT model designed by Crest Industries, the CR-MT98 G is used primarily in roles of suppression and defense

CR-MT06SBEdit

A Crest Industries design, the CR-MT06SB has heavy armored that shields it from enemy attacks and was built specifically for the role of a base defense unit. Its front shield is so strong that it cannot be penetrated by any weapon. Only when the MT opens its shield to attack can damage be done.

CR-MT07LMEdit

The CR-MT07LM was designed and deployed by Crest Industries for experimental purposes and comes equipped with two large missile launchers.

Mirage Muscle TracersEdit

MT-08-OstrichEdit

The MT-08-Ostrich is an all purpose MT designed by Mirage to counter Crest's own CR-MT77 Series of MTs.

MT-08H OstrichEdit

The MT-08H Ostrich version of the Original OSTRICH model incorporates a hover booster and has better energy efficiency.

MT-09E-OWLEdit

Mirage's flagship model, the OWL is a high performance MT equipped with a powerful ECM, making lock-on difficult. The OWL is considered to be superior to Crest's MT85, and is proven so in Armored Core Nexus.

MT-09RO-OWLEdit

A variant of the OWL armed with a bazooka, allowing it increased combat capabilities; however, this new addition has come at the cost of durability

MT-10-BATEdit

The MT-10-BAT is a transformable MT capable of switching between a hovering assault bipedal weapon to an airbourne jet fighter. The MT gains exceptional mobility in bipedal mode, but is much faster in fighter mode.

MT-11-StarlingEdit

Bearing similarities to its rival, the MT77 series, the Starling is an extremely mobile MT designed to be able to traverse any terrain. This has been accomplished by giving this particular model the ability to jump boost a large distance, and is only lightly armed.

GURENGEEdit

Large size guard MT equipped with a flamethrower. Scientists who used to work for Kisaragi are responsible for its development.

Extremely small hover type MT that is widely deployed due to its lower cost and ability to operate almost everywhere.

MoleEdit

The mole is a guard MT designed to be deployed in desert regions. It travels underneath the sand and rises to the surface to attack when a target has been detected.

RatEdit

Guard MT unit primarily used as a first line of the defense in various facilities.

SporeEdit

A hovertype guard MT, the Sport is a relatively new design that equips cluster missiles and is used mainly for enemy base assaults.

U03M-TERMITEEdit

A terrestrial guard MT unit designed by Mirage, the TERMITE is quite agile and often deployed as part of a facility's first line of defense.

U05-FLEAEdit

Prototype MT design based on an earlier Mirage model. The unit is extremely light and uses a catapult launching system to affix itself to targets.

  • Last Raven marked the first time the MT's, commonly nameless cannon fodder, were finally given names and information about them. Up until then, all were referred to simply as "MT's"
