Kojima Technology

Kojima Technology is a recent breakthrough in mechanical engineering that was first developed in a joint venture by Akvavit and Rayleonard, and soon after replicated by Omer Science Technology.
The technology is based on the Kojima Particle, a new substance discovered around 7 years prior to the National Dismantlement War. Within the military, they have many applicable uses, from powering Armored Cores and creating LINX pilots. However, Kojima Particles are also an incredibly violent pollutant; quickly damaging or even destroying any lifeform that is exposed to them. Due to the classified nature of Akvavit, Rayleonard and Omer Science's research and development, the secrets of Kojima technology remain hidden from outside companies and organizations; this has caused a huge increase in industrial espionage between companies.
