Jan is a Lynx appearing in Armored Core 4. He is ranked # 38 in the Data Arena. He also appears in Armored Core: For Answer as Collared's ranked #13 Lynx. Fully loyal to Aldra, Jan's soldier instinct has seen him through both the Lynx and Economic Wars.
Biography[]
Starting off as the newest Lynx among the companies, Jan strove to prove himself. Picked up by the smaller heavy weapons corporation Aldra, he learned to apply his skills as a former soldier in the national army. Surviving the Lynx War, Jan moved up the ranks to becoming Collared's esteemed #13 pilot.
Personality[]
NEXT Blind Bold[]
During the Lynx War, Jan pilots a HILBERT-G7 heavyweight model NEXT, using its high load capacity to equip devastating laser weaponry such as the HLR71-VEGA High Output Laser Rifle, and the back-mounted HLC02-SIRIUS Laser Cannon. These granted a high degree of offense and defense while sacrificing mobility. The only downside was the limited amount of ammunition available to him. Later on during the Economic War, Jan began using a SOLDNER-G8 heavyweight model NEXT. Equipped instead with Aldra's BZ-BROCKEN Lightweight Bazooka and GRA-TRAVERS Lightweight Handheld Grenade Launcher, while also still equipping the SIRIUS. Both NEXT incarnations have had the same theme of "Overwhelming firepower at the cost of ammo supply", which means that his NEXT has astounding firepower with little ammo to speak of.

The most recently-added Lynx among the Companies. Little is known beyond his history in the national army, and his crushing successes on the field thus far.

An Aldra Lynx who has been involved since the Lynx War. His craft, Blind Bold, has been modified to fit Aldra's first full frame. A former soldier for the national military, he knows his stuff, and he has the firepower to prove it.

His NEXT relies heavily on stun; using a tank or slower craft will render you extremely vulnerable. As such, this is one fight where a light craft with high mobility is very recommended, as no one can attack from behind. Plowing him down with assault armor and grenade cannons is very helpful, as he relies on Primal Armor for defense.
