Grand Roc-S26
Grand Roc-S26 is the unofficial fan name for the bomber unit that appears in Armored Core 3. This bomber unit also briefly appears in Silent Line: Armored Core.
Overview[]
The Grand Roc-S26 is a manned bomber much larger than an AC. Throughout missions, its weapons are never actually seen by The Raven. It is equipped with highly damaging explosives (that resembles grenade launcher rounds) on board. It is always found taking these explosives towards a strike destination, moving steadily and at a great height. The unit makes up for it by normally being accompanied by other aggressive enemy units. Its defense is considerable taking a number of shots to bring down.
The Grand Roc-S26 also has a brief appearance in Silent Line, as an allied bomber unit in the mission Archive Area Ambush, where the Raven faces off with a bunch of high-end MTs and Corpse Maker. If the player has struggles with taking down Corpse Maker, the bomber will appear as an ally and assist the Raven in defeating Corpse Maker.
