The title of the KARASAWA-MK2 details three individual types of right arm weapons: the KARASAWA-MK2 that first appeared in Armored Core 2 and later in Armored Core 2: Another Age and it's remake that appears in Silent Line Portable and by extension, if it was picked up in Silent Line and a save was transferred, in Last Raven Portable.

Next generation of an industry renowned model. Carries less ammo than the original KARASAWA but is much lighter.
Last Raven Portable[]
KRSW laser rifle modified for higher energy output. Compared to the Generation 3 WH04HL-KRSW, it has lesser ammo but is lighter and fires faster.

This part is found hidden in the mission Stop the Surface Weapon, near the far rocks on the opposite side of the second SRBIA. In Armored Core 2: Another Age it can be bought in the shop from the beginning of the game
Silent Line Portable[]
The KARASAWA MK2 is found on the top of The Controller in Data Retrieval. It is accessible in the second part of the mission.
Last Raven Portable[]
Part cannot be obtained in-game and the only way to obtain is to load a successful save file from Silent Line Portable.

Trivia[]
- Its real-life designer is Takayuki Yanase.
- This weapon got its stats lowered in Armored Core 2: Another Age. Its Ammo Heat decreased from 68 to 42.
- Much like the original Karasawa, the weapon appearance is loosely based on the Composite Positron Rifle from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
- In Armored Core 2, every successful hit to another AC in the arena adds another 90~120 damage causing the AC to take damage twice in one shot.
- From Silent Line Portable onward, the rifle's power comes solely from its raw damage power alone, meaning the stun effect/lock does not deal any damage whatsoever to an enemy AC. This also means that in order for it to be effective, one must land all (or at least majority) of the hits on the enemy AC. But this can prove challenging if the enemy AC is highly resistant to energy damage (high energy defense) or if it's very mobile and hard to land a hit on, which means that another weapon must be used alongside the rifle or in place of it if the ammo runs out.
