An MT, or Muscle Tracer, is the term for a large and varied group of machines originally developed for labor, and later adapted for military use.

The CR-MT77 is an all purpose MT model designed by Crest Industries. Intended solely for labor-related activities, the unit is unarmed.

Specifically designed by Crest Industries as a long-range combat unit, the CR-MT83RS model comes outfitted with an ECM maker and high-performance radar.

CR-MT85B[]
A heavily armored MT model designed by Crest Industries, the CR-MT85B has been widely deployed with excellent results. In Armored Core: Nexus, the MT85B is shown to be inferior to its Mirage counterpart the OWL.

CR-MT85BP[]
The CR-MT85BP is an upgraded version of its predecessor, the CR-MT85B. Developed after Alliance was established, the unit incorporates technology created by Kisaragi in some of its parts. This model is extremely durable, capable of taking multiple hits from even the most powerful weapons

CR-MT06SB[]
A Crest Industries design, the CR-MT06SB has heavy armored that shields it from enemy attacks and was built specifically for the role of a base defense unit. Its front shield is so strong that it cannot be penetrated by any weapon. Only when the MT opens its shield to attack can damage be done.

The MT-08-Ostrich is an all purpose MT designed by Mirage to counter Crest's own CR-MT77 Series of MTs.

MT-10-BAT[]
The MT-10-BAT is a transformable MT capable of switching between a hovering assault bipedal weapon to an airbourne jet fighter. The MT gains exceptional mobility in bipedal mode, but is much faster in fighter mode.

MT-11-Starling[]
Bearing similarities to its rival, the MT77 series, the Starling is an extremely mobile MT designed to be able to traverse any terrain. This has been accomplished by giving this particular model the ability to jump boost a large distance, and is only lightly armed.
