Briefing[]

A long-term campaign aimed at manipulating Mirage is about to payoff. They're sending forces directly into the trap we've laid for them at Avalon Hill.

The terrain around Avalon Hill is wide open and offers little cover. A maneuverable AC capable of enduring prolonged combat is required.

This is a prime opportunity to catch Mirage unaware and deal a decisive blow.

Given the number of units they've dispatched to the area, a supply vehicle will be on hand to restock your weapon stored as needed.

Dialogue[]

Laine Meyers:We’ve arrived at the combat area...deploying AC.

Laine Meyers:Kisaragi has provided a supply vehicle. Take advantage of it if necessary.

Supply Vehicle:Checking weapons. Resupply complete.

Laine Meyers:Destruction of all enemy targets confirmed. Good work, Raven.

Consort[]

Funds: 9000c

Note: Huntress is an MT pilot in this mission. Apple Boy is using a custom colored starter AC in this mission. Also note that you cannot get an S-rank if you choose to bring a consort.

Walkthrough[]

This can be a rather difficult mission if you're not adequately equipped for this mission. There are a large number of durable MTs in the level and they have a tendency to surround you due to their big numbers. Using a high-defense/AP type of AC will help greatly on this mission. It's also best recommended to bring weapons with high ammo count and also a blade. Although there's a resupply vehicle in the level, it's quite far away from where the enemies are and they may hinder your progress while you're making your way there. Also, if you're using shell weapons, resupplying them will add on further to your ammo cost as well. So unless you have energy weapons, it's better to bring high ammo shell weapons that need not necessarily need resupplying, and this is also why it's recommended to bring along a blade, so that you can still mop up remaining enemies even when out of ammo.

The CWG-BZ-30 performs very well here, since it can take out the Gray Boars in one shot. 30 ammo may not be much, but if you only fire at the Gray Boars and no more than one shot at each Scutum (finish them off with EOs or blade or howitzer), it can last. Blade whenever you have the opportunity. The enemies will deal a not insignificant amount of friendly fire due to their numbers.

The easiest, though not the only, way to S-rank this mission is to use a tank equipped with the Karasawa. Even without the E++ OP part it will take out a Gray Boar in one hit and a Scutum in two. Combined with a howitzer and another weapon of your choice you'll have more than enough firepower to quickly defeat everything. It just takes practice.
