In-Game Biography[]
A former Normal unit, he climbed his way up the ladder from GA's army. His AMS compatibility isn't much to brag about. But he was the catalyst for the NEW-SUNSHINE project, allowing pilots of his level to develop top NEXT combat ability.
Information[]
He is encountered as an enemy during the mission Defeat Wonderful Body. His unit is lured out by Interior Union who left a group of unprotected transports at Old Peace City as bait. It is here where he is ambushed by Interior forces. His Normal piloting style leaves him open to a number of attacks which ultimately result in his downfall against The Raven. If The Raven were to not have followed this storyline, it is still very likely that Don Colonel is defeated by Wynne D. Fanchon, Roy Saaland or Ay-Pool.
NEXT Wonderful Body[]
Don Colonel pilots a camouflaged NEW SUNSHINE equipped with a GAN02-NSS-WBS Spread Bazooka, GAN02-NSS-WR High Capacity Rifle, and both OSAGE03 and WHEELING01 Vertical-Launch Missiles. In theory, this NEXT is well-balanced for both short and long-range combat, but thanks to its average pilot, it's not much of a threat. However, its spread bazooka is very dangerous in close combat, so be advised.

Strategy[]
Order Match[]
Don Colonel is slow and will mostly try to attack you at medium range. Its missiles will bombard you from afar and the OSAGE03 is quite accurate. As always, be aware of his spread bazooka and engage him on your own terms. Thanks to his GA-parts, energy weapons are very effective against him. Unlike in the mission however, he will not stop periodically, but even so it is still of little concern.
Mission[]
In the mission, Wonderful Body stops frequently and walks a lot, which makes him an easy target for physical or laser blades. Again, however, his spread bazooka wreaks havoc on lightweight unit, so be aware of his orientation when attacking. In Hard Mode, several GA03-SOLARWINDs will escort him. The relative toughness of the Normals as well as having a similar posture will make targeting Wonderful Body quite annoying. As a support NEXT on this mission, Vero Nork is a bad choice. Don Colonel's Wonderful Body is equipped with flares and so he will be able to avoid most of the missiles she uses. On the other end, Reiterpallasch's lightweight configuration can be a disadvantage during Hard Mode if she gets flanked by the Normals. Overall, My Bliss is the best choice for support in this mission.
Quotes[]
- Finally, they've thrown a NEXT at me. The Interior Union drag their feet too much.
- W-wait a second? NEXTs move like...that? S-so...what am I doing?
- What the- I can't die, not here!
- Battle experience, Next Quality, We're no match. This is the only possible outcome. Its not your fault, right?

Trivia[]
- Don Colonel's odd piloting ability, while attributed to his Normal days, are also an indirect reference to common Armored Core piloting techniques in other games, particularly in Armored Core 3 universe, where boosting and stopping is a must to conserve energy. As Normals are basically Armored Cores, this is a subtle nod to the players.
