Briefing[]
We have a mission for you regarding the old military facility southwest of Isaac City. It is now occupied by the Earth Environment Reclamation Committee.
The group purports to survey the above-ground environment, but this seems questionable.
The reason given for their entering the facility is said to be the peaceful dismantling of residual military facilities, but they are taking too long for that.
We are studying their background, but we must do something about this group quickly.
According to surveys, this facility functioned as a military data bank before the Great Destruction. The main computer may still have records from that time.
If their true target is this data, this is no trifling matter. Heaven forbid for that to be it. We want you to break into the facility and destroy the main computer.

Armored Core Destroy Base Computer
This is one of the longer missions in the game, so keep an eye out for your ammo and preferably bring weapons with a decent amount of ammo and a blade too.
You will have to navigate your way all the way to the computer room, which is located deep within the facility. You have to get past many corridors and passageways. Along the way you will also find many Mustang MTs. It's better to destroy them as they tend to get directly in your way and be rather annoying if you leave them be. There will also be a group of Heat Wave GPACs along the way too, although it's ultimately up to you whether or not you want to destroy them. There's 1 Heat wave around the beginning part and 3 more near the end where you have to make your way to the computer room. There's one more Heat Wave but it only appears in a cutscene before it's subsequently destroyed by a Swift AC.
Once you reach the main computer room, you will then encounter the Swift AC unit, a blue-colored mass produced AC with a pulse rifle & 2 missile launchers on the back. Surprisingly, Swift is actually quite weak in comparison to the other game ACs faced up to this point so any kind of weapon would work on it. Do note that you also have to destroy the main computer (marked as 'target') to complete the mission.
Trivia[]
- One of the Heat Wave MTs is destroyed by the Swift in a cutscene.
- Even if the computer is destroyed you still need to destroy the Swift.
