Crusader

Crusader is a small unmanned four-legged guard MT that appears a few times throughout the original Armored Core as enemies. It is used mainly as a guard MT in facilities abandoned before the Great Destruction.

Overview

The Crusader is a small unmanned four-legged MT around half the size of an AC. Its only weapon is a pulse rifle mounted the front of the unit. The unit has low mobility but has a very high energy defense for an MT and is immune to gas that corrodes metal. The MTs possess very high energy defense at the cost of very low shell defense.

These appear in great numbers and can take out some of their companions with friendly fire.
